In 2009 we celebrated the 125th anniversary of the founding of Barnhill St. Margaret's Parish Church. This was a notable year, not only for this anniversary but the induction of a new minister, Rev. Susan Sutherland, the building of a new church hall and a new manse.
It seemed appropriate at this time to record the history of our church. We are grateful to Alister Lockhart for the time that he has spent in researching this subject, and for his contribution to this website.
